Wearable Smart Safety Alert Device

Description: This communication device is designed to analyze the position of the user and detect potentially dangerous situations such as falls or prolonged periods of immobility. It can be discreetly worn in an armband or clipped to a belt, has GPS and Bluetooth localization, and can immediately send emergency alerts.

Why PUI Audio: This device uses a PUI speaker and microphone to allow for direct 2-way communication once the alarm triggers. We were selected due to our ability to help minimize feedback between the speaker and microphone, helping guide the design of the speaker enclosure around tight space constraints to optimize the audio quality, and ability to hold the microphone to a strict sensitivity tolerance.

Product: AS01808AO-SC18-WP-R and AOM-5024L-HD-R. This product used the AS01808AO-SC18-WP-R and the AOM-5024L-HD-R with water resistant coating and PFAS free materials. The AS01808AO-SC18-WP-R is a compact 18mm speaker from the Mobile Series designed for strong performance in constrained spaces. With a slim 2.8mm height, it delivers a clear 96dBs across the spoken audio range. The microphone is a water resistant 9.7mm ECM with a slim 5mm profile. It delivers a -24dB sensitivity while operating with an 80dB signal to noise ratio.
